4-308’s Multimedia Pen Pal Videos

June 27, 2007

4-308 working on their videosAfter listening to podcasts and exchanging blog comments with their pen pals in Scotland, Ms. Delaney’s class has put together the following video with digital photos, and images downloaded from the Internet as an introduction to Class 4-308, PS124, our community, and Park Slope. Students edited the video using iMovie.

Forehill Academy: Enjoy the video, and hopefully we’ll hook up with you again next summer!

(We apologize if you can’t see the video at your school, is currently blocked by the New York City Department of Education.)

Sorry we cannot see your video. We are also unable to use YouTube in Aberdeen. We are having a similar problem with the program that we use for creating our slide shows.
We begin our summer holidays on Friday but will check your site when we return next session.

You Tube is also blocked in schools here but you might want to post your videos to which seems to be fine.

    Thanks Shirley & L,
We are warming up the blogs again, and thinking about new ways of corresponding with other online schools. We’ll keep you in the loop!

Sorry about the YouTube hang-up, and thanks for pointing out TeacherTube. I’ve been testing their service this summer, and found that it will not embed in hosted blogs.

We’ll continue hosting our videos on this year (as with this video) for now, and keep watching TeacherTube and other services as they continue to develop.
