City Councilman Brad Lan
der is seeking public participation in a decision on how to spend $1 million in the local community.
Different projects will be presented to the public at a Participatory Budgeting Expo on Wednesday, March 14th, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM at the Park Slope Armory.
One of these projects — the most important one — is a plan to renovate and upgrade the children’s bathrooms on the second floor at our school.
To sign up to vote for this project you can go online to Brad Lander’s site and pledge to vote for fresh plumbing and tiles and clean stalls for our children.
And, if you can, come to the Expo at the Park Slope Armory where we tell interested participants about why this project is more important than the others that they might for. It’s not high tech. It’s not pretty. It won’t be used by the whole community. But it’s the most important.
It’s a million dollar decision for our students.
