Temperature

Temperature’s hot.
Sometimes it’s not.

It measures heat in the summer.
It measures chill in the winter.

Temperature’s hot.
Sometimes it’s not.

It measures heat in Nebraska.
It measures chill in Alaska.

Temperature’s hot.
Sometimes it’s not.

It measures heat in Texas.
It measures chill in Kansas.

Magnets
By: Leslie Tryer and Jo Ellen Moore

Magnets attract.
That’s a fact.

Things like nails.
And metallic pails.

Magnets attract.
That’s a fact.

Things like cars.
And lids on jars.

Magnets attract.
That’s a fact.
