Sister doesn’t want a parrot.
Sister says they’re boring
You can’t even run with it,
And she gets annoyed by it’s snoring.
And the worst thing is you have to clean up after it,
Especially when it uses the bathroom,
And what it left after you fed it.
She doesn’t like it.
Sister doesn’t want a parrot.
Sister says they’re lazy.
And when you forget to feed it,
It goes really, really crazy.
A lot of times when it’s mad it does a lot of squawking.
And whenever you say something near it,
It mocks you when you’re talking.
She doesn’t like that at all.
Sister doesn’t want a parrot.
She doesn’t think they’re cute.
But more than the parrot, I think
She wouldn’t want this newt.

Mother doesn’t want a dog.
Mother says they smell,
They never sit when you say sit,
Or even when you yell.
And when you come home late a night
And there is ice and snow,
You have to go back out again because
The dumb dog has to go.
Mother doesn’t want a dog.
Mother says they shed,
And always lets the strangers in
And bark at friends instead.
And do disgraceful things on rugs,
And track mud on the floor,
And flop upon you bed at night
And snore their doggy snore.
Mother doesn’t want a dog.
She’s making a mistake.
But more than a dog, I think
She wouldn’t want this snake.
