Puppies and Pounds
”According to the U.S. Humane Society, about 6-8 million dogs and cats are brought into shelters every year, and about half (3-4 million) are euthanized.” (Euthanized means putting down, putting to sleep, or “mercy killing”, is the process of terminating the life of a person or animal.)I believe we need to save dogs instead of putting them down in pounds. I mean if you were to go to a local dog pound and they saw you they would make a CUTE puppy noise so you can take them home.
Stray dogs need shots for disease, broken ankle, paw, tail, lag, hearing and seeing. Dogs are sensitive. They can get sad when they can’t get something they want.They need to be treated like a family like nice and friendly.While you play with the dog you can put them on your stomach and they might lick you!
You can train your dog to help you for emergencies. For instants, you can show him/her around the city so if you suddenly get blind she/he can help you from the training you did. He/she can be an emergency dog to help you!
I beleive we should adopt pets instead of kills them because they can be our friends. For example if you are lonely, you can take the dog and talk.You can lay down with the dog. You can play with the dog. You can sleep with the dog. You can feed the dog.
My thesis is to help dogs instead of putting them down in pounds. Even when you go to pounds and you see the dogs/puppies you’re gonna want to take them.
Puppy from pound at 2 years old.Just look how cute it is! Would you want to ruin that dogs life by not playing,feeding and talking to it?Well another thing is it will just want you to be helpful to her/his owner the most.
