Personal Narrative Reflection

October 7, 2009

Class 3206Hello My Young Writers-

As you know we have studied the steps of the writing process as we have written our personal narratives.  As we near publishing, we will use our checklists and rubrics to make sure we have included everything we want (like lots of exciting details about ourselves) and nothing we do not want (like spelling and punctuation mistakes).  When you are finished, please come to our blog to reflect on what you have learned about the writing process and personal narratives.

Please answer these questions:

1.  What are the steps of the writing process?

2. What is a personal narrative?

3. What makes a personal narrative engaging?

4.  What steps in writing do you like most and why?

5.  What steps in writing do you feel you need to improve upon?

Thank you for thinking about YOUR writing processes and for sharing all your wonderful voices with me.

Ms. A
