There once a man named Sam
who really liked honey roasted ham.
He liked it on a roll
and ate it on a bowl.
He liked it on a plate
and had a fancy date.
We all know what Sam is getting
some honey roasted ham on his wedding.
His wife Pam liked also liked honey roasted
they where such a good couple Sam & Pam.
They really liked honey roasted ham
they went to the store and ran.

I think this is a great poem that my own third-graders (at an American school in the Middle East) will appreciate! I have copied this down to read to my class tomorrow.

Thank you that was really nice of you and your class. Sam & Pam just just came up in my head. Because my class were doing rhyming couplets. I was the only student to make up a funny rhyming couplet.
