5th Graders Are Ready to Discuss Internet Safety Awareness
Did you know that the Department of Education has an Internet Usage Policy that applies to students and teachers?
The students in Mr. Flickinger’s and Mr. Tandarich’s classrooms are ready for small-group discussions on Internet Safety. They’ve spent time looking at websites like NetSmartz and iKeepSafe. They watched some pretty serious videos on cyber-bullying.
The small groups of five children will meet with one adult teacher or staff for open discussion, by taking turns responding to questions and situations on small cards.
It’s going to be fun, but just imagine if you’re the responsible adult in the group when a girl or boy draws an especially tough question! If you are interested in joining these discussions, please see Mr. Conrad.
