How To Make Puffy Buttermilk Pancakes

Introduction: If you like Puffy Buttermilk Pancakes you can make them any time. You can watch the Puffy Buttermilk Pancakes puff up.

What You Need:

Oven

Pan

Mixing bowl

Glass measuring cup

measuring cups

measuring spoons

whisk

spatula

Ingredients:

1/2 tbs of backing soda

1 1/2 cups of fat buttermilk

1 egg lightly beaten

2 tbsp of oil

2 cups of flour

2 tbsp of sugar

1 tsp of baking soda

syrup

Steps:

step 1. In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.

step 2. Add the buttermilk and the lightly beaten egg. Mix together with whisk until smooth.

step 3. In a large pan,heat half of the oil. Drop pancake batter, about the

size of 2 tablespoonfuls, into the hot pan.

step 4. Cook until the edges become brown and the batter becomes bubbly.

step 5. Flip pancakes over and cook until the other side is browned too. Continue cooking more pancakes until all the batter is gone.

Helpful hints:

* Do it with a help of a grown-up

* Don’t put the stove top to hot

* Don’t flip them in the air

* Add more oil to the pan as you need to
