November 3, 2006

Rainforests are located in South and Central America, Africa, the Islands around Australia and Asia. Tropical Rain Forests cover only about 7% of the Earth’s surface. Wild and wondrous rain forests extend from as far as Alaska and Canada to Latin America, Asia and Africa. There are thousands of plants and the temperature in a tropical rain forest is usually between 75, 80 degrees.

I didn’t realize that the temperature only ranged from 75 to 80 degrees. I thought it would be much hotter. When I think about rainforests I usually envision only South America. Thanks for the info.
