Sample Production Lesson 1 — storyboarding:

We are going to produce a short video to get everyone familiar with the process of making a video.

Today we're going to storyboard a scene from The Turn of the Screw. The scene is when the ghost appears in the window of the library.  

In 3 shots I want you to: 

1. establish who is in the room and where the window is 

2. show the ghost appearing  (how do we know it's a ghost? 
3. show the nanny's reaction to the ghost

* use close ups, mid-shots, and wide shots.
* think about where we can shoot this at the school. 
* we can use this in our production

 The next step will be to shoot video using our storyboards as a guide.
