Staff Development in Technology

Teachers at P.S. 124 can expect ongoing training and staff development in technology from the following sources:

• One-on-one sessions with colleagues: in this area, everyone is a learner and anyone can be a teacher. Don’t be afraid to ask someone, “How can I do this?” Watch, listen, scribble some notes, then practice on your own and help others when they come to you.

• Rhys Daunic will be leading professional development as part of his new role in the school. Watch the PS124 Staff calendar !

• Region 8 Office of Instructional Technology offers extensive free classes during after-school hours and weekends at the Regional Operations Center at 131 Livingston Street.
